Ferencvaros will face Vasas SC in OTP Bank League in OTP Bank League Gameweek 17 on Saturday, the 28st of January. The match will take place at Groupama Arena stadium in Budapest. Kick-off at 19:30 CET.

 

Vasas is one of Hungary's major sports clubs. Vasas FC has won the Hungarian League six times and Hungarian Cup four times. Vasas is known internationally for reaching the semi-finals of the 1957–58 European Cup season, the quarter-finals in the 1967–68 European Cup season, and for being the most successful club in the Mitropa Cup with 6 championships. 

 

Vasas, that returned to the top tier of the Hungarian football this season, is currently in the last position in the league table, with 15 points after 16 matches. 

This is going to be the third match against Vasas SC with Stanislav Cherchesov as Ferencvaros coach. Ferencvaros won the first two matches - 2-0 in the Hungarian Cup 2021/22 fixture, and 1-0 in the Hungarian League match in September.
