The hosts made a fast start, with midfielder Amar Rahmanovich opening the scoring in the 5th minute. Akhmat responded swiftly as forward Georgy Melkadze leveled the score on 10 minutes. Just before halftime, Egash Kasintura converted from the penalty spot in the 40th minute to give the visitors the lead. Krylia Sovetov drew level in the 70th minute, when defender Nikita Chernov headed in a corner delivered by Mikhaylo Banjac.
